About Me

I'm Symmone, the girl behind the camera. I'm a huge fan of Downton Abbey, Marvel, The Hunger Games, and anything that features a royal family. I also love reading and writing, music, painting, astronomy and my dogs Bella and Opal. I recently spend a month living in Paris where I studied French, which has been a lifelong dream of mine.

I took an interest in photography before my sophomore year of high school and began with landscape photography. I always liked art, but I couldn’t draw the world around me, so I figured I’d capture it. This interest expanded to travel photography and street photography, but I quickly found that portraits were my passion. I officially started my photography business in the summer of 2018 and shot my first wedding in December of 2020. I've been working as a journalist since graduating from SDSU in December 2021, and I recently started grad school for book publishing and hope to be a book editor one day soon.
